We have recently made a number of improvements to the availability system within BookingStation. We have streamlined the process of adding available dates by using the season dates as the default available days.

Blocked dates
To allow you make days (other than those with bookings) unavailable we have introduced blocked dates. This enables you to add dates ranges, within you season dates as being unavailable.

It is common practise to require a security deposit when renting a property. BookingStation now allows you to keep track of your security deposits and deductions. A default security deposit can be set for each year and property within the pricing section.

The booking details screen shows the security deposit amount and any deductions.

Clicking the Add Deductions link reveals a form for storing deduction details.

As deductions are added, the refund amount is re-calculated.

The pricing feature within BookingStation groups date ranges into seasons that use the same tariff. To control the order that these seasons are displayed in, we have been working on a bit of JavaScript trickery to make that reordering process faster and easier.
